Jr. Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join the Province of Canada Creative Team, reporting directly to our Chief Creative Officer. In this role, you will work alongside and support our Content and Community Manager, in designing assets consistent with the brand guidelines across a variety of touch points, including email and social assets, apparel graphics, and various types of fun marketing projects.

We are looking for a conceptual, resourceful, creative thinker with attention to detail. You have a great understanding of design fundamentals related to typography, grid, layout, and colour, and can flex between a variety of different projects at once.

This a full-time position, located at our studio in Leslieville, Toronto.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist with all email design including automated flows and marketing campaigns with direction from our Content and Community Manager.
  • Assist with photo editing, model, flat-lays and lifestyle photography; Handling/organizing product samples.
  • Assist with apparel graphic design and create accurate, print-ready files.
  • Assist in Creating all Social Media Content based on Email Campaigns.
  • Assist in Creating all Ads based on Direction from Team.
  • Assist with various marketing materials including wholesale decks, PR kits, and product collateral.
  • Assist in Influencer Marketing Tools and Communication.
  • Collaborate with creative team members to create consistency across platforms and assets.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience at an agency or in-house brand.
  • Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and In-Design.
  • A good understanding of typography, colour, layout, and best practices across print and digital.
  • Passion for the Province of Canada mission, the apparel and interior design space, and physical product design.
  • Experience in creating print-ready and web-ready files and general print processes.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
