Our retreat residence in the heart of Prince Edward County.
Over the past two years we’ve been working on our retreat residence in Prince Edward County and we’re excited to welcome you in 2023 at The Canada House. Our calendar is now open, offering 2/3 nights stays in the off season and 7 night stays during the summer. The house accommodates 8 adults comfortably, with 2 King Bedrooms, 2 Queen Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms. Located 5 minutes north of Picton. Book your stay.
The interior of the house has been designed by the Province of Canada team for family and friends to share their holiday, getaway or work-cation, in comfort and relaxed luxury. Combining warmth with a minimal beachy, made in Canada vibe, this is the perfect spot to lounge around enjoying the pool, hot tub, gourmet kitchen and country backdrop.
The Canada House is a four bedroom bungalow with all the amenities of a city home, tucked away on quiet dirt road. The two acre property features an above ground pool that is available from June to October, a large outdoor deck space that surrounds both the pool and the year-round hot tub. Inside of the home a well equipped kitchen, a Sonos Move sound system, wireless internet, two smart TVs (one with cable) laundry and four well-appointed, boutique-style bedrooms. Oh, did we mention the pool?
Bed of Canada
For our 'made in Canada sleeping experience' we've partnered with Endy, Au Lit Fine Linens and Quagga Designs to create a bed that is 100% made in Canada, all the way down to the bed frame.
Exploring the County
The house is located in the centre of Prince Edward County and the quaint towns of Picton, Bloomfield and Wellington are only a few minutes away. Visitors can spend their days exploring the local galleries, wineries, and restaurants, take a hike or relax on the shore at Sandbanks Provincial Park.
